I started this blog to focus on my 30 day challenges. It's called "Out Of Focus for now" because it really suits me and who I am. I have personal family blog and noticed my blog was a little of this and that not a whole lot of any one thing.
I have found myself to be a "Jack of all trades but master of none." In years past, I struggle with this notion and felt "out of focus." I felt like everywhere I looked I had passionate friends and family that knew what they liked, what they wanted or at least where they wanted to go. I felt like I knew what I like, wanted and definitely didn't know where I wanted to go (in life specifically).
For those who know and love me, I think they would agree in saying I may be one of the most indecisive yet impulsive people on earth. If an important decision has to be made, I will change my mind 1,000 times over and then jump all in at the very end. I guess I could be considered a bit reckless but I have always like to try new things.
When I have tried something new, I have often fizzled out before the finish line. I have had many years of trying a little of this and that but not loving anything or finishing much. So instead of walking in the frustration of needed to feel focused...I decided that my focus was that I was a little "out of focus for now."
I like a little bit of everything. I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I have always wanted to go just about anywhere and everywhere. I am now focusing on being a little out of focus. I am going to jump into a little of this and a little of that. I hope to blog about all of it and of course take pictures everywhere I go (hopefully most of those with be in focus). I'm not sure where this is going to take me but I'm off and running.
So this will be the journey of the 30-something, wife and mother of four that likes a little adventure and would like to get the "to do" list done with a smile, challenging myself to do a little of this and a little of that for about 30 days or 30 times. It is a small challenge that will hopefully open the door to trying lots of little things along the way. I kind of figured at the end of the day there may be a little something for everyone.
On a side note, my family's names will not be posted on this blog. I will still run my personal family blog for family and friends who would like follow our lives in a little more detail.
